The Yankees jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning, but Buster Posey brought in a run in the bottom of the same inning to cut their deficit to one run. By the top of the 6th inning, New York increased their lead to 5-1, but similar to the first inning, the Giants fought back and scored two runs on hits from Buster Posey and Yangervis Solarte to make the score 5-3. The Yankees would ultimately win 7-3, but this back-and-forth game was one of the most exciting of their 2019 season. All the great Giants players who fought throughout this game can be remembered with this game-used base.
